Who we are…
After five years of outreach and fellowship in the greater Dallas area beginning with NoRooz (Persian New Year) of 1990, the Iranian Baptist Church of Dallas was officially established with the help of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, the Dallas Baptist Association, and three supporting Baptist churches in the Dallas area in April of 1995. We follow reformed biblical theology with elder rulership. Our goal is to present the good news of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple those who make a profession of faith in Christ, equip them to live biblically, and reach other Iranians for Christ’s Kingdom. The Iranian Baptist Church is interested in developing servant-leaders who would participate in spreading the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ to the Iranians. Pastor Iraj Hemati has been the pastor of the church since its inception in 1995. He holds an M. Div. from the BMA Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas, and a D. Min. from the Masters Seminary in Sun Valley, California.
